The West, at war with ISIS and in the aftermath of an ISIS atrocity in one of their capital cities, is now in a confrontation with a country also fighting ISIS in order to support an country that is aiding ISIS. After the country that is aiding ISIS shot down a plane that was attacking ISIS.

    Hope that clarifies matters.

Was gonna make this tread. I saw it coming. I knew Russia would be somehow attacked in some way when they're the main source of isis' a$$ whooping. Nato used Paris to mobile it's fleets on and around where Russia was spanking it's employees. Well, it's here, lets see what happens.

The US State Department's response will be very revealing. Are they finally going to publicly call out the Turks for supporting ISIS? Or is that too risky given what the Turks probably know about America's own role in supporting ISIS in Syria?

NATO has become tangled in its own web here.

I wonder what Russia would do if someone flew a bomber 2km into their territory

Didn't Russia deny that it didn't have its forces in Creamea too, but guess what they did and Putin lied about it

Can't wait to see how NATO reacts. Can't imagine they can adopt a strong line given the circumstances. Everyone seems to be talking about Turkey's ongoing support for ISIS except NATO governments. Now even Russian Duma representatives and Putin himself are calling them accomplices of terror.

Probably shoot it down. Probably because Russia's not bordering a country that's being controlled by the worlds biggest terrorist organization. Probably because they aren't expecting war planes to be flying in close proximity to their border. Probably because they suspect Turkey to be supporting ISIS so what could a Turkish military aircraft be doing in Russian airspace?

Maybe the russian jet was flying over turkish territory and despite being repeatedly warned, did not alter it's course. The russians do these Things often over Scandinavia.

Difference here is that this is a warzone.
