Does anyone know how to make a remote controlled led?

and by that i mean, you can control the led(turn it right/left/up/down etc)
with an analog switch(im just sayin analog because it's on the ps controllers and it's got the most poisition for controlling stuff)

anyone got a video or somethin that explains/shows somethin like this bein built?
