Heavyweight contender David Price (16-2, 14 KOs) continues his comeback run on March 8th in Berlin, as part of the undercard to Yoan Pablo Hernandez's defense of the IBF cruiserweight title against Polish contender Pawel Kolodziej. After suffering back to back knockout defeats to Tony Thompson in 2013, he signed a promotional contract with Sauerland Event. He made his debut for Sauerland in January, when he demolished Istvan Ruzsinszky in in one. Sauerland is slowly rebuilding the Olympic bronze medal winner.

Might want to define half good. In today's HW division that might put you into the Top-15 in any sanctioning body.

In all seriousness we're talking about Sauerland here and they are announcing the fight on 4 weeks notice with no opponent in place.

I am going to guess that the opponent will most likely be 1/8 good.

It won't be anyone special; probably another can he can blow out in 1 round.

Price needs rounds: it's simple. Sure, he's got that big right hand, but he needs to work on his jab and shot selection; keeping a tight guard; footwork; and, above all, stamina.

How about Oliver McCall. He's 48 - but he fought and beat a prospect recently in Poland and his two prior fights were in Germany and Poland.

He was pretty much shut out by Francesco Pianeta so he's not much of a threat anymore but he won't go down from the first right hand that hits him either. It's a recognizable name and he'd take the fight for whatever $$ they offered.

Obviously they'd want to make it an 8 rounder. Don't want to have a Sonny Boy Williams - Frans Botha ending where Sauerland cuts the fight short to save an exhausted Price.

Good shout. Probably too dangerous still, though

No, no, no - Price doesn't need to face a durable opponent right now. He needs to build back his confidence; and he needs to do it by fighting a bum 'o the month

I lost all respect for him when he relinquished the British/Commonwealth titles. Lucky for him though that he's now out of the equation & won't have to face Lucas Browne for the CBC belt or Dereck Chisora for the Lonsdale belt!
