  • North Korean Labour Camps

I have just started reading a book called "Escape From Camp 14" about the only known man to ever physically escape one of the countries labour camps. It is very interesting and I recommend it.

Anyway, apparently you can see these camps clear as day up in the North Korean mountains on Google Earth yet the country still completely deny the existence of any of them.

Think I've found one. Check out out. Just copy this into Google maps....

    42°32′17″N 129°56′08″E

What are people's thoughts on these camps or just the country in general?

        They're not labor camps.

They're mining locations where North Korean scientists are busy unearthing pegasus fossils at the behest of their supreme leader.

              Hahaha

But seriously, do you not think it's crazy that most of the world knows this is going on yet just ignores it?

                Great quote from the book.

“High School students in America debate why President Roosevelt didn't bomb the rail lines to Hitler's camps. Their children may ask, a generation from now, why the West stared at far clearer satellite images of Kim Jong Il's camps, and did nothing.”

Because of Bush, America is already involved in two wars that have cost us dearly in terms of money and man power.

I don't think the U.S can do anything without the help of it's allies and to be honest, outside of England, no country in Europe ever wants to take the lead in anything.

Those people are fuked but the regime will collapse under it's own weight.

I know this book. I would certainly read it. You always have to take this sort of thing with a grain of salt though. His story is pretty fantastical. But, having not read the book, I can't be much more skeptical than that. (Although the quoted passage in the post above doesn't inspire confidence in the narrative's legitimacy).

Look up 'North Korea uncovered' for the google earth plugin. It is very interesting. Hours of entertainment.
