Who has had a better career Ray Allen or Paul Pierce and who do you rate higher?

Ray Allen has had a better career and he's an incredible talent with unbelievable stamina, but Pierce is sorely unerrated.
Just looked at their career numbers and they're very close. Throughout their careers Pierce has a higher ppg and reb. avg., but since Ray Allen has been a specialist at 3 pointers and FTs, he'll get the edge. Pierce is an underrated talent, almost or even in the mold of a Wade.

It's a slight toss-up.
I lean more to Ray Allen though, he's got more playoff experiences with Milwaukee, Seattle (as a main man) and then Boston. Thing is, Pierce was more of the go-to guy back in 2008. This year Ray went back to his old form as not only a shooter but a slasher that can create situations and can take the ball to the rim.
If the Celtics win it this year that solidifies Ray's career over Pierce, since the former had more impact on the Celtic's run to the finals.

Allen has had the more glamorous career.
Pierce is in my mind ATM the more dynmaic basketball player.
He's more liable to light you up from anywhere on the court as opposed to Jesus having to shoot off screens and spot up.
Pierce is the more Dynamic scoring talent.

Paul Pierce is a good scorer while ray Allen is a 3 point legend and a good scorer. Ray Allen has a legacy while nobody will really remember Paul Pierce besides being that guy that was with KG, Allen, and Rondo when the Celtics where at the top of the East. I think out of that big 4, he's going to be the most forgotten. he had that decent run with Antwon Walker but that's about it.
No Allen isn't easily the better player. That's ******ed.

Pierce is the life long Celtic though, says alot to me.
Sticking with the same team for 12 Years.

in the orlando sieries pierce averaged 24pts, 9rbs 4 assists,
and getting 30pts, 11rbs in the clinching game 6.
he gaured lebron, hit the buzzerbeater that help boston get a 3-0 lead on the heat.
and i expect a big night from him.
ray is great to, but pierce has been more consistant this playoffs.

they've both had very close careers. both are similar players as in they could have been contending as league leaders in scoring in their primes but they always put their team goals before their personal goals.
I give the edge to Pierce but its very close.
