All of that is irrelevant if what he's saying is true. He called a man in the ring, challenged him, then vacated the belt. Now, he's not talking to the press.

A LOT OF FIGHTERS HAVE COME OUT AND SAID WHAT CANELO DID IS DISRESPECTFUL TO BOXING.
Ok Einstein.. here is what everyone is saying in case you missed reading the actual comment itself..

Nobody is denying that Canelo ran from GGG but pointing out the fact that Eubank Jr is saying he will fight all top contenders incl. GGG when he had his mandatory shot at Jacobs, but instead chose to fight for British title & C level fighters..

Justify that if you will before jumping hoops to prove who is an idiot & who is stating facts even if it hurts your backend..

If you want to be real fastidious you could take weights every 4 months of a boxer's career and work of the averages. That would punish sloppy fighters who balloon out of the ring. Lets say your average walk around weight over 3 years is 178. Guess what? You are disqualified from fighting at MW and have to fight at SMW. Would be somewhat interesting and would keep fighters in the news even when they don't have fights lined up - like Mickey Garcia.
And thats exactly the reason I am a bigtime HW boxing fan than lower weight classes where people go through hell to make weight & then re hydrate 15-20lbs overnight.

Apparently Eubank has to be an elite fighter who has fought an elite fighter to be credited with an accurate opinion. In that case, that means 99% of the posters here are not allowed to give an opinion because almost none of us has fought an elite fighter. Boxingscene logic right there.

This is just flat out embarrassing for Canelo. His reputation has taken a hell of a hit.

Exactly! And some of Canelo's apologist fans embarrass the hell out of themselves trying to defend Canelo. That's about as dumb as climbing on Canelo's sinking ship expecting it to float. It's not like the WBC did not give Canelo plenty of time to come to an agreement with team GGG because GGG has been the mandatory for a long time. So Canelo's belief that he was going against some 11th hour decision doesn't hold water. He has had months and months to negotiate.

It's embarrassing. And if GGG does fight Ramirez it will look even worse for Canelo.

It's not so much embarrassing on canelo's part as it is on fishnet's part...Boxing fans know what they see and Canelo doesn't have the goods..When we talk Floyd, Rigo, lomachenko, Ward, Kovalev ect, we think of fighters who are actually great enough to beat almost anybody in or around their class and will not lose unless there's some ridiculous disadvantages or severely outweighed....We don't feel this way about Canelo and neither does his promoter..There's no logic in thinking a man who fights for a living is afraid of another man, so for me the amount of time, money, resources and lies that Fishnets is pouring into him, and expecting fans to keep eating it up is the most embarrassing part in this.....
