Hatton didn't really say Canelo didn't hit hard.He said that he takes punches well so Canelo's punches didn't trouble him. If Hatton thinks Canelo might beat Mayweather then he is impressed with Canelo's all around ability including his accuracy punching power and strength. At least that's what I got out of what Hatton said. Hatton is well known for having a good chin. Lopez said Canelo hits harder and faster than Ortiz. Rhodes also said Canelo hit very hard with great accuracy especially with body punches.

Canelo is not slow. He has some of the fastest most accurate combinations of any fighter in his weight class. I do believe Floyd is going to get hit more than he ever has been hit before.

Canelo's best attribute are his combinations. Every punch is gonna hurt and he throws combos that you don't really expect.

There is no way Hatton felt a full force Canelo in their fight, today's Canelo would have taken him out in 5 rounds.
