          The semi-finals were on today. The finals will be on the 14th (HW) and 15th (SHW).

              Most amateur boxers from Azerbaijan actually suck. Their boxing federation pays the AIBA to get medals.

              Parviz Baghirov is average at best. He would be a journeyman in the pro ranks. You can buy judges, not talent.

                that's harsh, we're not that bad

                Parviz lost to a very good Kazakh fighter today but I think he can still qualify for Rio if he wins the 3rd place fight. He beat Roniel Iglesias in the quarters who is a very good fighter.

                Selimov is probably the best we've got atm but we have some other good young fighters coming through like Mamishzada and Mammadov
