    The killer, Ismael Felix Rodriguez, following directions from the CIA.

    Ismael Felix Rodriguez, "El Gato," a Cuban exile who participated in the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961. "El Gato" has also been linked to the 1967 ambush of Ernesto “Che” Guevara in Bolivia.

    I wouldn't put it past the CIA. They are very often involved in shady dealings and the "official" story they tell us isn't necessarily the truth.

      they do alot of stuff like this. It's been common knowledge that they were using Caro Quitero's ranch to store weapons and train contra's

        I read that in the book "LOS SEņORES DEL NARCO," published in 2011, the author makes reference to this. I own the book, haven't' read it, can't find it.

        One of Caro Quintero's corridos makes a little bit of more sense -

        "Yo no mate a Camarena,
        Les dijo el Numbero Uno,
        Rafael Caro Quintero...

        Fue un Traficante famoso,
        ejectur de los narcos,
        Que andan en nuestros terrenos."
