Golovkin wouldn't have to go backwards, to beat him you have to have a great inside game, be physically strong and have a punch that GGG would respect.

The only thing Loma's got is inside game. He's P4P better than Golovkin but he'd lose to him due to a bad stylistic match-up.

Golovkin likes to fight one way; the fighter that doesn't let him do that beats him; shotgun jab as he's coming in, footwork to manipulate range, making him defend shots and moving before he could even try to counter, working really well to the body, etc.

I voted GGG. Loma has a beautiful style that is like no other style I have ever seen. He might be the trickiest and most difficult to hit clean of anybody fighting today. He is able to land his own punches with ease will avoiding return fire. But you can't really separate the style from the man who is using that style. You said who's style would be the most dominate. I think GGG with his style combined with his iron jaw and deadly two handed punching power to both head and body is the most dominate boxer in the sport of boxing today. He always wins by KO. He loses fewer rounds per fight on the judges cards than any other boxer including Ward, Loma and Mayweather. His style isn't as pretty as Loma's style but it's even more effective. Loma lost to Salido even if he would likely win a rematch. To date GGG has never come remotely close to losing a fight. He would be a big betting favorite over any 160 pound boxer in the world.

None of the fighters you've mentioned had power he'd respect. Against known power punchers like Lemieux and Stevens he fought very cautiously.

It's strength and power that will beat Golovkin, not fluid movement and beautiful defense.
