A martinez win will elevate floyd in about A joe calazaghe position ATG wise.

Depending if its a dominant performance from floyd.

        Joe is undefeated,

        has more wins than floyd.

        less retirements too.

I would've thought that Mayweather challenging Martinez for his middleweight title at an agreed catchweight would be the stuff of legend.

The thread starter must think pretty highly of Mayweather if only a 160lbs fight against Martinez can challenge him. He's actually praising the guy he hates and doesn't realise it.

Is anyone else at 160lbs or below too easy for Mayweather? That seems to be what he's saying.

              nope.

The TS is actually asking Floyd to FINALLY step up after all the pass We have given him since 135.

I'll give floyd his props IFhe fights Martinez at 160.

Then when he beats Up Mosley, Mosley is all of a sudden no good anyways.

Hilarious how you're sucking Pac off for fighting "P4P guys" and losing to them but you discredit Floyd for dominating 2 P4P guys coming off his 2 year layoff.
Mosley was inactive for 16-18 months as well, he was scheduled to fight berto.

He was getting outbox by mayorga before he beat an unfocused tailor made Margarito.

                  Cotto's not a genuine 154er.

Canelo DOES need to prove himself by beating legit 154lb quality opponents. YES he still is young and YES he is still improving. Even Canelo said that he is still improving. He probably should have taken another fight before May to continue gaining his experience but that is another matter.

Martinez. We don't know how he will recover from his injury. Maybe he will become less mobile. To know, we need to see how Martinez fights in his next fight.YES, Martinez is getting up there in age and every day that passes this needs to be questioned .... that is, will see the same Martinez in the ring? Since Floyd fights just once a year, he should have already gone after him this year instead of taking Cotto.

BUT we all know that Cotto was a MONEY FIGHT!!!

It's Floyd's own fault. "Money" Mayweather goes after the money AND ADMITTED to that yet his fans are saying "no its for his legacy"
No, what he said is the truth. Guys like you will discredit him no matter who he fights.
