You don't call that pressure?
The reason he couldn't do it is because Ward sucks, doesn't understand punching range or distance in general, has a ****ty offense, holds too much when he should be fighting and would rather win by wrassling and headbutting than by punching the other guy.
Johnson>>> Ward and its not even close.

i think he was more concerned with greens power and was more into the smothering fighting style which smothered quite a bit of his own punches and really wasn't able to set green up for anything really big, more of a grinding and wearing green down.
johnson was taking any and everything opening possible, inside and outside, and wasn't letting green get set and wasn't leaving himself open by standing and trading. not that ward was, but ward, smothered and grappled more, had he fought more with an offensive mind and combinations, ward would've had green out of there, ward was more focused on not giving green anything to work with, which he did well but didn't leave us anything exciting...

Glen's power gets sold short a lot of the time, he is no puncher but he hits hard enough to hurt and he hits often. Green was so open for the overhand right that it's no surprise he ended up being stopped, because Johnson wasn't going to stop throwing it.
Ward just hasn't displayed fight-changing punching power so far.
