  • Man Utd and Liverpool are the only two clubs in England who have the right to spend big.

When they splash out big money on world superstars like Pogba and Mane they're well within their right to do so given the clubs have earnt every single penny of that money fair and square.

City and Chelsea on the other hand are spending illegal oil money.

    Big difference.

Meh. Taken from top dog Martin Samuel:

There is nothing more irritating than bad history. You hear a lot of it in football. So here are the facts. Aston Villa won the European Cup in 1982, 11 years after the first European trophy won by Chelsea, the European Cup-Winners Cup in 1971, and 12 years behind Manchester City, who won the European Cup-Winners Cup in 1970. By 1982, Chelsea had played five seasons in Europe, starting with the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1958. They would actually have been the first English team to enter Europe, had Football League secretary Alan Hardaker not pressurised the club into withdrawing from the European Cup in 1955. City, meanwhile, had played seven European seasons by the time Villa won the European Cup, their first in 1968. So far from Chelsea and City being newcomers to Europe, they were among this countrys first entrants and champions. Still, presumptuous errors like that can happen if all you know is modern football and all you listen to are stupid chants about clubs having no history. City and Chelsea both won European competitions before Liverpool lifted the UEFA Cup in 1973.

Man United have no more right to spend what they have than any other club, typical Mancs trying to play the excuses now first it was
          "OMG Chelsea buying the league"
          Then
"OMGGGG now Man City buying the league... but they'll never be a bigger team than us"
          All the way to now
"Oh but we earned the right to spend that cash"

You don't like it when others spend but its okay for you to do it lmao.
          Stopped reading at "OMG".

Mancunians don't speak like that pal.

I assume the rest is just anti-manc propaganda.

            • Liverpool aren't really part of the status quo if there is one.

They represent a City where you can buy a house for a pound.

They have this outstanding reputation for great support.

Never bring more than 250 people to the Bridge.
I once ended up going to a Newcastle away game on boxing day in Blackburn. I was on a coach with Newcastle fans going to the stadium and we got clapped and cheered in by Newcastle fans walking to the ground, I just shamefully nodded and waved back .

It was about -5 too and there was at least a good 50 of them with their tops of all game.

Maybe they just didn't like London, or Blackburn was more appealing to them.

Forest would probably whoop Spurs at this very moment in time so i'd be careful of which teams you call gash.
