We just don't wanna watch him run for 12 rounds when he could easily fight in the pocket with the speed advantage he has.

Dirrell's nuthuggers (Burner etc.) seem to be misunderstanding (again).
Look, it's not that Dirrell should try to go punch for punch with AA. The issue that I and other people have is that he does his best to run from his opponent and to win a fight doing as little as possible.
Please don't call that great skill. Look at Floyd against Hatton. RH was physically strong, very tough, and a very good inside fighter. Mayweather, who is frequently criticised on here, fought Hatton at his own game. He didn't try to land 2 punches and then run for the rest of the fight like Dirrell does, he fought with Hatton and used his skill to wear him down and knock him out.
A skillful boxer will move backwards or to the side and make his opponent miss. You know what he'll do then? He'll take advantage of his opponent leaving himself open to land a fast, well-timed punch, and then he'll move again.
What Dirrell does is to make his opponent miss, but then he just carries on running, rather than exploiting the opening in his opponent's defense.
Dirrell is a lot faster than Carl Froch. Froch has a poor defense. Yet Dirrell didn't even land that much on Froch and rarely tried to exploit the openings that presented themselves. Look at someone like Chad Dawson if you want to see an example of how a fast, skillful boxer should fight.

A win is a win. Its up to AA to do something about it.

Carnivore you would make a terrible fighter the way you think.
NO one in the division can trade punches with Arthur and you expect of all people Dirrell to? His style is not to sit there and punch, as if he did that he would be easily knocked the hell out. SO yes styles matter, someone who fights like Dirrell obviously wont stand there and brawl its NOT his strength. Which is why the sport is called BOXING and not BRAWL. Go watch UFC if you want to see knock outs, watch boxing to be impressed by skills and athleticism.

Simple answer: Yes.
Dirrell will run from AA because AA has that one punch knockout power. If he ran from Stevens and Froch, he will get on his damn bike against Abraham.
A win is a win, but you get no respect running like a *****. Theres a difference between movement around the ring while throwing and blocking punches/ring generalship and running, make no mistake about it, Dirrell runs.
