i really cant decipher what's going on at the end of his fall

is he faking it / being humorous?
is he so badly injured that his body stops responding to commands and stiffens up like that?

is the injury to the back / neck, or to his brain / head?


there's a lot going on, for sure. it also appears to be on one of the major American TV networks, given the logo on the bottom right of the screen.
