I think Canelo-Mayweather would be the biggest fight of the last five years if it were made, but I doubt it will. I don't think Mayweather would fight Canelo. Too much risk. Canelo has the best arsenal of offensive firepower of anyone Mayweather has faced, maybe ever. He is getting older and more hittable. He won't take this chance.

I think Mayweather fans have the huge Mayweather sunshades on saying this would be such an easy fight. Canelo has size and power advantages and he is technically much better than he gets credit for from some people.

He could quite possibly reach the skill level that Floyd's possesses (just like there's a good chance that he won't).
He is not a bad fighter, but he WILL NOT reach the skill level of Floyd, nor the ring I.Q. I don't see him reaching the ring I.Q. level and skill level of Juan Manual Marquez. One thing a lot of people don't seem to grasp is that, fighters like Floyd and Marquez don't come around all the time. They are rare fighters, throwback, and in today's era, practically an extinct phenomena. Andre Ward is like the last of the mohicans.

I actually like Canelo/Floyd, but I like Sergio/Floyd better in terms of superfights that can be made at the moment. I don't think Canelo should get to fight Floyd next though. I wanna see him a beat a solid, 154lb'er his size first... then if Floyd was willing to face him, I'd buy the PPV.

Even though Floyd is getting up there in age, he'd still whoop Canelo. Alvarez, much like Chavez Jr is a stiff, however, he does have better overall boxing ability than that paper champ Chavez.

Alvarez is slow and his feet are like anchors. Mayweather would give him serious problems, he isn't ready for Floyd and personally, I don't think he ever would be.

I think Floyd is gonna pull a Leonard, he's gonna retire and come back for one last fight.

I suspect that most of us love to see Canelo, Martinez, Pac, etc... but how do those fights get made? Advice is to these guys is start taking pot shots at Mayweather in every medium possible. Call in names in interviews, on twitter, post fight t-shirts. Talk the trash and tick him off.... only chance. Make fun of him, call his woman names, belittle his past opponents, etc.
