  • Its time that American's told the truth about the myth of Bernard Hopkins

This guy is one of the biggest frauds in the history of the sport.

His 20 title defenses are a big joke since most came against no hopers, smaller guys, journeymen and bums like Moradde Hakkar.

He never delivers in the ring, his "executioner" bit is about as corny and gay as it gets.

He is nothing more than a businessman, actor pretending to be a hardass.

Hopkins shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Marvin Hagler and other great MW's in boxing history.

He is however very good at playing the eternal victim and pretending he is anti establishment.

As we saw last night, he is full of **** and cares nothing for the fans or the corruption in boxing as long as he's on the profitable end of it.

Other than DLH, who were these smaler guys he faced at mw? trinidad was a legit mw, much like Pacquiao is considered a legit WW today.

I've been watching most of B-hops career. Always seen him as a throwback, in his prime he could slug it out, box, infight, on the outside you name it. Lately however with the way he's acting in the ring he's ****ting on his own legacy.

There is nothing about Hopkins that impresses me.

He has no killer instinct, he has always been slow as molasses, and his fights are amongst the worst in the history of the sport.

He is also a pure racist as evidenced by his comments against Calzaghe and a big crybaby who counts on white liberal guilt on the part of the media establishment to get his way.

Bernard Hopkins has the best counter-cross on the planet...better than Mayweather's, better than Pacquaio's.

Slow, since when? He seemed to be just as fast as Jones last night, and was only a tad bit slower than Calzaghe. If you want slow chek out Carl Froch.
