Absolutely not. Froch is looking his age. He probably only has 1 or 2 fights left in him.

If Degale Beat Froch More Impressively Than Ward Is He #1 @ 168 and P4P top 3?

LOL @ all the Ward lovers saying no.
Now if, say, Nicolas Walters were to knock Donaire out in a round, you could say something like "if Rigo is top 5 P4P just because he beat Donaire, shouldn't Walters be P4P, too"? Because beating Donaire is literally the only reason Rigo is on the P4P list. But it's clearly not the case with Ward and Froch.

I'm definitely not a big Ward fan, and ive stuck up for Degale more than most over the years.
Ward could have had a truly world class resume if he had two fights:
1) Dirrell but that was Dirrell being a coward so not ward's fault.
2) Lucian Bute, but Ward didn't want any of it.

Bika was relevant a decade ago and was not an impressive win. For Ward to face a guy at that stage in his career and really be a true P4P talent, he should have battered Bika pillar to post. Yet Calzaghe beat him more convincingly in a completely different era.
Abraham had already been beaten far more convincingly twice before.
Dawson...are you serious?

Degale would have an older Froch and....... Gonzales? A close loss to Groves?
Come on

Bika not an impressive win, yet he would be the second best win on Degale's record (with a hypothetical Froch win).

2) Bika is still very much relevant, and no one has ever "battered him from pillar to post". Not even Joe, who was #2 P4P at his best.
3) I have never seen anyone beat Abe more convincingly than Ward. It wasn't spectacular, but he easily won every round and was never in any danger. Froch beat Abe up more, but was badly hurt himself in the later rounds.
4) Dawson... yes, I'm serious. Dawson was the consensus #1 at LHW at the time, with a win over Hopkins (which people like to pretend didn't happen these days).

"i fink Alvarez shud ov bin abov Mayweather in da rankings wen he beat Baldomir cos he knocked him out"
Said no one ever.
The only single win which puts Degale on top is Ward
