Yeah was disappointed to see that he missed the weight...hope it doesn't continue because the guy is really, really good and would hate to see the public sour of him. He's got his flaws but man..his inside game is P4P imo..in that range he goes from offense to defense like a natural..great sense in there. I go overboard when I see that because not that many can fight like that. He was digging continuous body shots late in the fight still trying to slow down Marriaga I thought that was awesome. Good skill in that fight from both, there was probably like 3 clinches the whole fight

Not that the unofficial weights are absolute accurate but Walters was 145 Verdejo was 144

i agree we need same day weigh ins but promoters wont have it because if a fighter doesn't have enough water in his system to be healthy or fails to make weight the same day as the fight the commission would cancel it, and the promoter would lose money.
