Edmund Hilary was an amazing climber and a pioneer too. But Armstrong pushed the boundaries not for a sport, or an art or even a race. He pushed the frontiers forward for our entire species.

Whether one is white or black or brown, muslim or jewish or anything else, Neil Armstrong's feat in 1969 should be cherished by all. One day, long after we are all dead, our species will travel far in space - maybe to another planet or on a starship to preserve our existence when the sun goes belly-up, and whomever leads that will ultimately be standing on Armstrong's shoulders.

Neil Armstrong deserves a special funeral. All countries and peoples should pay their respects. He is a truly great man.

Did Neil Armstrong build the rocket? or was he just fortunate to take a ride of a lifetime?
