Reliable sources tell me Arum is purchasing one of the disassemblable stadiums after the World Cup in Qatar in anticipation of huge turnouts for Pacquiao - Marquez XIV and XV, Pacquiao - Mayweather I, and to watch Zhou Shiming make his record 20th title defense against TBA.

Chavez Jr. talking to Al Haymon, Mikey Garcia filled a law suit, Pac numbers weren't what Top Rank was predicting, Gate numbers were lower than expected, and now the MGM Grand might cut ties with Bob Arum.

Hasn't been a good month for Top Rank.

MGM resorts own Bellagio, Luxor and the Mandalay Bay... Lets not forget about the whole City Center area and they own a few more properties in Vegas

IMO this hurts TR the most... Mgm is still gonna get their money from all the Golden Boy cards and concerts/events they put on year round... Not to mention the new arena that holds 20k or more that Mgm just started building on the strip and is set to open in 2 years, I'm sure they'll have no problems selling out events there.

Ain't the MGM looking to get this 20,000 seat arena going.. or expanding it? For a company people on here say should apologize, they sure aren't looking like they'll be hurting by making this move

Old man is getting out hustled. If there's no other location in Vegas that holds 10k+ he is losing big maybe he can start building that Stadium he was supposed to do.
