Funny but Riddick Bowe was supposed to be the one included in a four-way rivalry but instead it was South African Francois Botha, who is the only boxer to have fought these three great heavyweights (Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis) of different era, and has also fought the current best, Wladimir Klitschko.

he also fought his ass off vs cotto and shane,, and i swear he took 12th round dives vs both of them,,, mosely came out of nowhere and just dropped mayorga cold with like 1 second left, and cotto ending was bizarre with the hand injury,,, i was always suspicious of those endings,,, Seemed like mayorga got those fights if he agreed to go down in the 12th if it went the distance,, maybe its just my inner conspiracy theorist coming out in me..
I loved it when he beat vargas,,,

And BANG - the balloon burst when they face their first, real quality test.
I believe it also comes as a surprise for the fighters themselves. I recall Tony Sibson, after losing his Hagler clash, saying something like 'I never realized it was such a gap between being a top ten fighter and being a top three fighter'.

I found his explosiveness outstanding. Still do. He is still one of my faves and he did indeed fight, but I was hoping for an ATG like situation

Canelo, broner, gamboa,, all those guys have way long ways to go before i consider them legit elite fighters,,,,
Danny and mikey garcia are the only 2 that i think are legit now, even though i think mikey's chin will be his downfall just like brother robert, and danny is a good fighter, but i think he is alittle slow and limited and will get him in trouble vs elite guys like floyd or a manny...
I have seen too many guys not live up to the hype
vargas
peter
taylor
breland
dana rosenbloom or whatever his name was, he got ko'd by vinny paz
zab
robert garcia
tim littles
tyrone trice
ricardo williams
