To be fair to the suits at the ufc and Zuffa, those guys pay out the ass promoting their product

gary shaw's idea of investing back into a fighters career with promoting is putting a bumper sticker on the back of his prius

Brock got paid more in WWE, but the schedule required him to be on the road and work a lot more than he does in MMA.

Just looked it up and he was getting around $8 million annually in WWE.

He's making less in MMA, but overall is getting a better deal in the UFC not having to travel as much and not worrying about the risk of long term injuries and health problems that a lot of pro wrestlers get.

Can't really say the same for most fighters.

In boxing, fighters get paid more because they are the headline. The UFC is an organisation, even though fighters headline. Remember, a MMA guy would be a builder or some crap, everyone wants to earn the best they can, but they don't wanna go down.

Heck people even do sports that pay the same as a normal job simply because they enjoy it!

wonder what fighters do get paid more if you take out the top 25 from both sports ?

can't blame UFC/Zuffa & White without them this sport could be like ping pong in the USA/World if that it was in trouble when he got started.

Those two headliners often earn more than the combined purses of probably 4 or 5 UFC cards, at least (in some cases). Just a guestimation, could be an underestimate even.

MMA fighters a vastly underpaid for their worth. This should be obvious to everyone. That's what you get when you have a monopoly, especially if owned by anti-labor plutocrats like the Fertittas.

It's very true that once you have competition, you call all tje shots with no threat. Fighters need to get paid for a living, they would be sparring anyway, or training like how normal people who do kicboxing,'Muay thai and MMA in gyms are.

This is why they will all join.

On the other hand, it's not so much Mma fighters are underpaid, I mean there are guys who do competitions just for a trophy. Earning 250k for a win is a good thing when there are soldiers on peanuts. It's more, boxers are vastly overpaid.

Bro, come off it. So the corporate bloodsuckers should just get all the money, and leave the fighters to go out each night and put life and limb on the line for a few peanuts, like enslaved gladiators?

I don't even know how to respond to this shit.

And most boxers are vastly underpaid, as are MMA fighters. It's only the very top echelon of boxers that pull in the millions.

Your post is difficult to even make any sense of, and it reeks of toxic ignorance.
