Look at the protests over Salman Rushdi (sp?) over his book. Look at the THOUSANDS of protests made over the Allah Bomb Head cartoon.

They don't do conventional warfare, it's guerrilla tactics mixed with fanatic believes (Ex: Suicide bombing) from a desperate minority. Believe it or not, that can be very affective and already have been very affective.
