  • In the U.S. 3 1/2 years worth of ammunition has been sold in just three days

    http://www.latimes.com/business/mone...,7596545.story

Other companies have reported similar trends. Sales are exploding for guns and ammunition that people suspect might be outlawed by coming legislation.

They can pass a law if they want but there is going to be so much of this stuff on the street (not even counting the illegal stuff) that it will matter little.

    Nobody is outlawing anything.

The one thing this report proves is that firearms retailers prey upon the stupidity of their clientele.

You're that pessimistic about the assault weapons ban ?!

It happened in the 90's, with less provocation.

Yawn, not surprised. Morons gonna be Morons.

Idiots still think they need MORE guns. Well if those children had guns, nobody woulda tried something.

People must be forgetting Columbine had a armed security guard, oh and what happened.

But I love when Cities like Chicago that have same population of Toronto have 50x murder rate its not due to guns.

Look at some 1st world cities murder rate, then look at American cities

But yea, guns dont kill people, we just need more guns so people are scared

What a joke, cant call yourself a 1st world country if you behind 3rd world countries in murder rates

Columbine was the first incident, nobody was expecting mass school shootings, just minor isolated incidents.

You have to know what to look for, for crime prevention to be effective, just as with 9/11.

No answer is perfect, but trusting in assault weapons legislation to keep people safe while leaving schools unprotected is just stupid.

Please, tens of thousands die every day, look how many INNOCENT people you guys have killed in Middle East.

You guys traded 2000 lives for ALL of your Freedom's.

Instead of moving on America tends to be stuck in the past with a memorial and dedication to everything. If you just moved on and ignored it wouldve been much better.

Guess what, if someone wants to kill a bunch of people they will find a way to do it, but I guess you guys willing to lose all your freedom just for 1% chance a few hundred people dont die?

So whats the ratio, killing thousands Iraqi kids with misguided bomb is still okay?

But some lunatic kills a bunch of kids in his hometown that means lets freak out and kill any freedoms we have remaining?

Other countries battle back and rebuild, you guys make memorials and dedications, ie just look at 9/11 memorial.

How many people die all around world? How many die from accidents.

This is just ploy to restrict freedom of American Citizens while making bunch of stupid rules that will create more profit for companies of Politicians while you have the 50iq braindead morons crying "Freedam Nevar Forget!"

Look what TSA has done to air travel, and TSA is preventing nothing, if someone wanted to do something they would do it, TSA just a bunch of HS drop outs doing nothing. But dont worry the bosses of TSA are happy in billions of cash Fed gov is feeding them.

Soon you will have finger up your ass just to enter a mall

                    War on Crime
                    War on Poverty

Corporate profit, Hubble Space Program has cost like 5 billion then Nasa budget gets cut, but how much spent on useless wars?

Thats what I find funny, instead of having awesome health care and feeding each child USA would rather spend billions per day, esp when no other Enemy has 1% of the resources, but we need more War Planes, Submarines and we need to keep our soldiers fully funded by paying $5 per snickers bar!

mind you America's enemy uses $10 AK47's and goat testicle armor.

If someone wants to kill a bunch of people it doesnt matter how many laws there are in place, they will just do it.

Instead everyones liberties and freedom's got taken away for a invisible boogey man because if we dont pass these laws your children will die!
