    Neither was 126 at that time. They were both 130 pounds. That being said, I like Arguello by late round ko. The only fighters that gave Arguello trouble were movers and fighters that went in and out. Chavez would be right in front of Arguello, therefore he would be ko'd like Olivares and Escalera.

      Chavez was alot more versatile back then.He wasn't the one dimensional,come forward fighter that be became in the 90's.He had pretty good footwork and could move and potshot quite effectively actually.Chavez also did this briefly against frankie Randall in the rematch which produced two of the most decisive rounds of that fight.


      I'd favour Chavez in a decision.
