Maybe so, maybe not. Imo, pac is not the fighter he used to be (circa '09 atleast).

Imo, a part of cotto's downfall in that fight (aside from pac being a beast) was him having a bad gameplan/strategy. When he boxed with pac, he did quite well. I think pac has declined enough, and with cotto trained right, it would be a very interesting fight.

when manny moved up in weight all his opponents thought they could just walk him down and walk thru him and thats why he looked so great but his last 3 opponents didn't do that and manny looked mediocre. everybody always says he's not the same fighter but he has not fought the same style that he faced circa 09

What I don't understand is that Pacquiao has refused time and time again to face Cotto above 147 pounds. If they are so sure they can beat him why ask for 147 and now 150? They faced Clottey at 147, Hatton at 140, Bradley at 147, Margarito at 150, Marquez at 144 and the best offer they have given Cotto are 145 for the first fight and during negotatiations earlier this year 147. Now they are "willing to fight him at 150" but not 154.

Always said this. Cotto is the only WW Pacquiao has fought that had meet him at CW, other JMM III. That weight didn't drain Marquez and wasn't why Pac set it low. I'm not saying at full limit Cotto beats him, but I don't get why Pacquiao won't just meet him at 154 or 147 back when they fought the first time.

Because after the 154 fights they are betting 150 is going to make Cotto struggle with making weight healthy again , Pac loves manipulating conditions to try and get an advantage it was only 2 lbs last time and its only 4 this time , it doesnt need to be any just fight the dude for real or piss of back to fighting rematches with the little people , or better still fight Floyd instead of ducking him .
