Love how the fight wasnt great so instantly these guys both suck and would lose to everyone.
A lot of the time 2 good fighters fight, it sucks. But dont try and tell me already exposed fighters like donaire and mares would stand a chance against either. Just sound like bitter comments from americans that hate that the UK has better fighters (Im not british)

I loved the second half of the fight.
Quigg has a broken jaw due to a Frampton uppercut in the 4th.

Quigg basically gifted Frampton the fight by letting him hit his arms for 7 rounds...
Frampton thinks he is so much more skilled than he is....he has a dwarf's body and would've been outworked by anyone with guts...... If Abner Mares were a little bigger, he would maul him....and Mares is basically a spent bullet.
He won the fight, but that had more to do with Quigg being gunshy for the first 6 rounds.
Frampton looked one dimensional and for all his feints and posturing he landed nothing of real consequence all night.

Like everyone else said Quigg should of started faster, if he had the same approach from round 4-5 onwards he might have won it, but upping the tempo as late as he did made it hard for most to justify giving it to him.
And yeah, he should have upped the tempo earlier, which is what I thought he would do but by round 8 it was too late, he would have needed multiple KDs or a KO.
There's still a lot of good fights for Quigg out there and I'm sure he will come back as champion.

I'm not saying Frampton is better than Rigo (has a very good chance of beating him though) but the Irishman is clearly the guy with the best opposition at 122 and he has been beating them clearly. How any one can say last night wasn't good for him is beyond me.
If Frampton was another shade, I guess we'd be hearing about how "slick" and "athletic" he is.

Frampton looked good & gave a good performance.
I bet quigg is kicking himself now. I think he was too intent on showing another side to his game. It may seem far fetched but quigg done a pac & changed his style in the fight of his life. When quigg fought as he should have he started to control the fight. He should have been like that from first bell.
Congrats to team frampton on a good win. If there's a silver lining it's that Gallagher & hearn will need to eat some humble pie

People who say these two are bums etc...
Please **** off
Both fighters are a problem for EVERYONE
I was impressed by Quigg from 7 and onwards
A lot was at stake, so the first few rounds neither man wanted to give the other an advantage. Frampton won those rounds because he is the better boxerLast edited by FrankieBruno; 02-28-2016, 06:35 AM.
