Rampage would have been the poster boy, he raped Chuck before Chuck got big and raped him in his prime. Versatile strikers are the only people who have given him much trouble besides Rashad. Forrest, Shogun and Wandy beat him with versatile striking.

With that said, who could have beat him in the late 90's early 2000's? Nobody, he's always been Chucks Daddy, he would have slammed the hell outta Couture if not knocked him out, Vitor would have took it to him round 1 but after that he folds and Rampage wins. Rampage use to have damn good takedown defense like against Randleman, he would have stuffed Tito and punished him worse then Liddell.

Rampage would have been a very dominant champion and would have had a considerably longer reign than Liddell.

Liddell and Belfort would have been stopped by Page, while Tito and Couture would have lost a decision.

Fortunately for Ortiz, Liddell, and Couture, Rampage was in Pride for all those years.
