when was mayweather ever a option for cotto? i have never heard arum mention a fight with cotto and floyd yet everyone always makes it seem as if floyd ducked miguel but no one in miguels camp had ever mentioned fighting mayweather

You talking about what a few posters on boxingscene saying bro as they talk for EVERYBODY. You take what a few Floyd haters say as EVERYBODY wanted to see that fight.

EVERYBODY wanted to see that fight. But, again when Judah lost to Baldomir. The Judah fight lost a alot of interest. It was a crappy fight that shouldn't of happen.

A fight with Baldomir had more interest than the Judah fight had at that time. And, for somebody who remembers it as it was yesterday should know this.

And, the fight with Margarito had more interest then the fight with Baldomire at that time did. And, again for somebody who remembers it like it was yesterday should know this.

Why not? It just wasn't those fights AT THAT TIME....

There was more interest for Baldimir in the first half of 06 than there was for Judah AT THAT TIME.

There was more interest for Margarito in the second half of 06 than there was for Baldomir AT THAT TIME.

AT THAT TIME when the fights took place it not the fight that EVERYBODY wanted to see.

EVERYBODY wanted to see Floyd-Judah. But, when Judah lost, the fight lost a lot of interest and I mean a lot of interest.

So around that time other then Margarito there really was no one else at 147 other then Judah, Baldo. I mean he then went onto sign to fight Oscar for obvious reasons and Margarito would go onto lose to Williams.

You have that right, so of course. But right now (Had Mayweather-Judah never taken place) I would have been wondering how Mayweather would have dealt with someone with Judah's overall speed and athleticism. We've both seen alot of today's elites face lesser opposition then Judah, so I don't see why anyone should complain...also, at the time, Judah was a good opponent to face.

because cotto looked bad in his win against clotty and was looked at as a shell of himself since the margo lost thats why manny decided to fight him
