As bad and out of shape as Briggs has been in recent years, he could probably still do quite well against the bigger slower heavyweights. It's the smaller, faster ones he has to worry about. A Lance Whittaker type fighter would be good for him, and he'd maybe get a tiny bit of credibility for it. Briggs had a lot going for him but I seriously doubt he'll have the dedication at this late stage of his career to mount a serious challenge. You never know, though.
