  • Successful fighters who are unskilled

Little bit of a contradiction i know cos obviously a successful fighter has gotta have some kinda skills. But what i mean is those guys who seemingly go totally against the grain of what you get taught in a boxing gym. The guys who plod forward with their body wide open, bad footwork, no defense, no gameplan etc.

I wouldn't say he's not skilled but Mayorga comes to mind as far as going against the grain and doing things u wouldn't be taught in the gym like purposely letting a guy tee off on his face

                  Hatton?

He had excellent footwork, far from unskilled.

Even though they seem unskilled, I can assure you that you wouldn't be able to land a punch on them. There are fighters who are lesser skilled than there opposition on the world stage, but because of physical attributes they are successful. Names like Amir Khan, Brandon Rios, Young George Foreman comes to mind.
