He should be fighting more often though in this situation, twice a year isn't enough.
once every 4 months (3 fights a year) should be the standard for most fighters under 30...

If Khan isn't doing any extra work in the off & non camp time then it's just a waste of his time and stupid especially since his style will probaly be impacted badly the older he gets.

Why fight anyone above 140? There's no way Khan can move up to 147 any time soon and survive. Those boys hit way too hard.

143 aside, I actually like the fight, should be a good one.

Diaz has decent power enough to knock Khan out, although Khan also has enough power to knock Diaz out

this fight is actually evenly matched, both have suspect chins

Not sure why people think this is an easy fight for him or Khan is above Diaz, ur giving way too much credit to Khan.

Diaz will come in with the heavy hooks aiming to ctach Khan out. he packs more of a punch than Molina

                  What weight class is 143?

if this is true then this is a weak move by Khan simply for the fact that Diaz isnt good enough for a cw. If you arent sure about yourself at WW but are fighting a solid guy then 143 or 144 makes sense but Diaz "shouldnt" be a threat to Khan so the fight should be at 147.

If someone isnt sure of themself at a higher weight then this is the kinda guy they fight but they do it at the weight. Thats the whole point. It makes no sense to do this. You either fight Diaz at WW or fight a good WW at 143. Just weird.

Not only that but 143 is so low and Diaz is so non elite that it still wouldnt prove that he's ready for WW. That means his next fight would probably have to be at the full WW limit against another Diaz type
