Only currently. And a lot of it has to do with media sensationalism surrounding the city and its teams leading to bandwagon fans all over. The Red Sox are basically the Yankees now and that's why they're seeing success, though fans are still in denial about it from the lean years.

I really dont know wtf happened to espn and sports center. Back then more stats and highlights less talk. Bring back the old espn.

Sports fans really have no other alternative since fox sports is just atrociously bad compared to espn.

It's the old-school east coast sports bias that's existed for a century, primarily centered around the "upper crust" media center cities of NYC and Boston.
