nobody is stupid enough to just stand in front of Cotto and let the world see if he still has Power...that is just fukin stupid

Margarito cheater or not the dude has a GREAT CHIN and he is though so it is hard to Measure Your Power against Margarito and against Mayweather, it is just hard to land clean punches...especially CLEAN POWER PUNCHES yeah Cotto landed some punches on Mayweather of course but nothing damaging obviously

A boxer's power doesn't just go. As they go up in weight, bigger fighters can take their power better than the guys in lower weight classes can.

For example, Kelly Pavlik's power is exactly the same as it was at 160. But because he's fighting bigger guys than at 160, they can take his power much better. This Sigmond guy, would have been knocked out instead of just stopped by the corner, if they were both MW's.

Also, you have to realize, Cotto's power is the same, but depending on what level of opponent he's fighting, his power will show. Mayorga and Foreman were apparently outmatched. Margarito was outmatched as well but more because of his injury. Cotto "stopped" all 3 of them, with Foreman being a more legit, clear stoppage. While Margarito was more of a doctor stoppage but Marg was alright physically, and Mayorga was a weird 12th round stoppage were it seemed like Mayorga just quit because he couldn't keep up with the punishment and was too old and worn.

Truth is Cotto's power is still there but if he faces good-elite fighters, he's not gonna stop them. Malignaggi was/is good, Mosley was very good in 2007, Margarito was good in 2008, Clottey was good in 2009, Pacquiao is very good, Mayweather is elite. Cotto couldn't knock any of these guys out.

Cotto has knocked out like 4 good boxers, Judah, Corley, Quintana, and Foreman.

Not sure if he can punch as hard as he used to, his record suggests he cant, but ask Floyd whether he punches hard.
