Sure he could, and he might do it but not for anything less than all the gold in Fort Knox~

Also Ward would have to be willing to drop to 160 possibly even lower along with the hydration clause, which would probably just be straight dangerous for Ward's health just considering the energy burnt during a twelve round fight.

Plus who would give him credit, but if he is getting all the gold in Fort Knox who needs credit~

On fight night there would probably be around 18lbs weight difference. That type of difference has been seen between fighters in the same weight class, when one fighter rehydrates a damn lot and the other not so much.

            Would that be possible?

No. There's a difference between a middleweight coming to the ring 20lbs heavier than another middleweight and a super middleweight coming in 20lbs heavier than a welterweight... the difference being that the middleweights, despite the weight difference, are generally roughly the same size build-wise, whereas the super middleweight is significantly larger than the welterweight. Larger chest, larger neck, larger wrists, calves, thighs, and so on. It also wouldn't help that Ward is one of, if not the physically strongest super middleweights in the world. Also, as has been mentioned, he's not just big; he's also fast, can box, can fight inside and out, is smart in the ring, etc. Very, very tough fight for Floyd at 168.

Ward is a big super middle, no way.

I extremely doubt that would be possible in any way for Ward to do without looking really bad.
