Anthony Dirrel was his mandatory challenger for one of his belts,Why would`nt Ward not want to keep his belts?

OK so you really think Pavlik would be a better challenge for Ward then Andre Dirrel?You now you don`t,you just don`t wont Ward to take on a fighter that have a good chance of beating him.

You obviously did not read my other posts in this thread. Try reading them before jumping to conclusions. No I was going by who is worth Wards time. Pavlik may not be more deserving, but at least he is a name. Ward is wasting his time anyway trying to land him. Ward is running out of options and Pavlik really isn't one, simply because Pavlik will not take the fight as there are better financial options with less risk available to him.

Ward is better off going to 175 right now. The Dirrell brothers and Pavlik are all a waste of his time.

I really like pavlik, but he would be very dumb to take this fight. As for ward, i think he would win, but it would be a lame fight, pavlik is terrible with movement fighters. Id rather see ward fight dirrell, or just go to 75

If he is going to stay at 168, Pavlik is a big name and he's just been fighting top SMW since the Super Six began. He wants a big money bout, good for him. He wrecks The Ghost though. Badly.

One of the most obvious signs of Chad not being right was that he seemed to be falling into the most basic anti-southpaw traps, slow jabbing which allowed Ward to slip and come back with right hook. No foot movement, poor defense, he wasn't using his hight and reach. A terrible performance and terrible preparation.

The fight will never happen. Even pavlik himself knows his chances of winning are so slim, that he would never take the fight unless offered a giant payday. With Ward not being a ppv star a large opponent payday is not possible.

who is a ppv attraction at those weights? ward is about as close to a draw as he can get. this would be bad for pav though. ward sr put the beats on him. don't see it any different this time around.
