WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has opened up his training camp in Los Colomos, as he starts to prepare for the next defense of his title. Surrounded by his teammates, the pride of Jalisco returned to training only two weeks after the he successfully defended the belt against Alfonso Gomez, who Canelo stopped in six rounds at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Alvarez ran for 7 miles and went through various exercises in the gym. As reported by BoxingScene.com's Ryan Maquinana, Alvarez (38-0-1, 28KOs) will likely face former champion Kermit Cintron (33-4-1, 28KOs) on November 26th in Guadalajara, Mexico.

good to see alvarez staying active. cintron (if it is his next opponent) shouldn't be a hard task, but perhaps the one that follows (angulo?) will deff be. hopefully we see that matchup soon rather than later.

Why stay in shape. With all the effort Suliman and the other crooks at the WBC put into giving you one of their belts, they're not gonna make him fight a qualified contender.

                and pathetic it was

Canelo doesn't master that technique at all, he was getting hit, leaving big openings for punches, not movinh his head or feet, just standing there

I know he is much better than in his last performance, and he has to step his game up for Cintron, because Cintron would perhaps stop the Canelo that fought Gomez

Can't help but be critical... look who he won his belt from, look who he fought last... two welterweights. I bet you after he fights and beats Cintron... he'll be used as a comparison to Martinez without ever having to fight him.
