Lyrics like these are the norm now a days.

    MANUEL TORRES FELIX

Everything's been said, everything's been written
Everyone knows everything, what else can I tell you?
Manuel Torres Felix, drugged-out and a badass
Son of Los Llanos and of El Cajoncito

    Even Pancho Villa executed people
Let alone inconvenient people, traitors and cowards
Even though I'm not Villa, I am also brave
And when they look for me,
I search for them, I find them, I pick them up, I torture them, I execute them and I bury them with a quickness

I wasn't a bad person, those dogs made me
I was a peasant and also a rancher
When they killed "Tachio" they didn't know what they did
They wanted to see the Devil and that's what they got

Beloved son of mine, now you're just a memory
An accordion is lonely without his owner
But the culprits are now in the fire
I sent them without eyes, without legs, without arms, in many pieces, straight to hell

Last minute news screamed the newspaper
    Manuel against soldiers, bloody confrontation
We saw our faces in combat
When I had them surrounded, they didn't want to fight

    Compadre, brother and friend Javier
Even though I miss you now, soon I will see you
Your people await for your return, and so does your throne
Greetings from El Chapo, El Mayo, Gonzalo and Los Antrax to the great JT

    some verses repeat

In another song written for Manuel Torres Felix, a verse says:

With one leg, pressed against his chest
With one hand he grabbed his hair
On the other hand he had a knife
He decapitated him, cut his neck
He left a message beside his body
That for him, respect to all children

    Pictures of Manuel Torres Felix

If you listen to the lyrics, it's more powerful than these narco corridos, that are proping up violence and a drug culture. The lyrics from Rancheras are like poems of battles and struggles that up lift you and give you strength and pride in who you are and where you come from.
        Good post.

Yeah this violent **** is lame as hell. Tries sounding hard but it's just goofy.

Manuel Torres Felix, 14 for the cartel, M1 for his team, El Ondeado hes nickname

          he left with a smile

some of these songs are too exaggerated, some are fine n more calm, they talk about the same guys but some of these graphic corridos are way to dumb

i like this one better about him

          They Were 400 elements
          He didnt think he lose
          More Less in Oso Viejo
Suddenly they fell to the Rancho
          All green helmets
          We seek El Ondeado
          Manuel knew the gaps
And he escaped on the mount
          Barefoot in the undergrowth
          The relentless attack
          while I cried
          come for Manuel Torres

The goal was not to capture me
It went through their minds they knew that he would not surrender
The bullets did not respect the ranks
          A lieutenant fell wounded
          Also some sergeants
          They say what suits them
And the wise man never argues
          Press I leave the report
The 14 took down 11 all in uniform
          And there are the crosses

          My will is my knife
The one the made so many enemies talk
9 you will do a good job
My rifle Taliban 'll leave loaded
          Turn off all radios
          As a sign of mourning
          Goodbye squad and my commando
          Beware guys
is the last order given by M1

I did good I did wrong
          I did what I wanted
So I leave with a smile
          How pretty you detonated 38
          I could now hug Tachio
          when God closed my eyes
          Your Father was always law
          And a battle General
          Because in warfare i fought
          And while i did win
          My Blood of King
          couldnt handle the bullets

There were 14 days of storm
          Rivers overflowed
          And until the earth trembled
They say that the sierra madre mourn
          If they tear a child
tell me how would you remain
I know my people will suffer
          For the earth embraces me
          My children do not break
          Friends , relatives,
          ask the absent
          Let the band play

The Pueblo says something strange happens
          That noise of the tractor
          Still awakes them
As a horseman rides in the distance
          His Spanish horse
          Named the "Mirror"
The 1 and 4 are together
          The promise was fulfilled
          M1 is dismissed
          The master of the plains
          Manuel "El Ondeado"
          Armed wing fallen
