If you think so you must be crazy. However i don't think you're crazy sdo you may have a reason not disclosed as yet. How would putting a jailbird in charge of your vast finacial empire be a good thing, when t's compteentely managed already by a know and trusted partner. Moreover one who was recommended to him by someone that MannyP.respects as much as he does Atum.

Do you think that Koncz's affairs are NOT constantly audited....???? In business, especially a $100 mill yearly business (I'm guessing amount) EVERYBODY is audited. Every business of ANY kind, worthy to be called a business has a person in a special position called a Financial Comptroller. I KNOW about these things believe me. He keeps tight rein (like with a horse...notice I use "rein" correctly, not "reign" nor "rain") on ALL financial matters, and has daily or weekly meetings with the directors. AND....on top of that they are yearly or monthly audited, either by their regular prestigious Company of auditors (like KPMG) from whom come the tax return documentation, or with spot audits at any time throughout the year...something like a bank audit, when the examiners come in without warning, at any time. This keeps people on their toes.

This Timothy James "Doe" guy seems to me to be a bit of a risk. Even though everything these days is a nornam risk, this seems like an inordinate risk. And, for one, I won't believe it until there is some proof, not Internet scandal site rumour.

I am not suggesting that this is the best move for Manny, just that this is a significant improvement on his current business model.

As recently reported regarding the appointment of McKelvey, Manny's business interests were in a very poor state indeed, and logic dictates that Koncz himself cannot possibly be responsible for handling all of Manny's business/financial/marketing/HR/sponsorship/contractual/tax/PR/political, requirements.

Pac needed to use a more functional specialised business model. This will at least provide some level of organisational structure.

Its a step in the right direction, thats all I was meaning, and I am sure that VisionQwest will be closely audited. I agree with your point about Koncz being audited, but Tim "whoever" is no less trustworthy than Bob Arum is, thats for sure.

Manny will still lose more money to Arum (relatively) than he ever will to VisionQwest, although I do admit that Arum has done a masterful job with Pac, and has put him in the enviable position that he is in today.

This move will enable Manny to get rid of some of the deadwood, impersonally.

Which is always much easier

It will also ensure that Manny gets his due, and that nothing has slipped through the cracks.

And it will provide a clearer picture as to where some of the problems have originated, and therefore who should be accountable.

It will also offer a more objective perspective on Manny's dealings with TR.

Currently, I do not think that Manny is steering his own ship. This is a step in the right direction, but point taken about VQ. What, there was nobody else who was prepared his handle Pacquiao's affairs?

Is it not possible to find somebody without a blemish on their character who would be safe from Michael Marley?
