Olajuwon definitely had better moves than Shaq and was quicker on his feet but he couldn't touch Shaq's strength. Shaq had the better career but then again, he had Kobe, Penny Hardaway and Dwayne Wade. All Olajuwon had was Drexler and Kenny Smith.

David Robinson was owned by Olajuwon though. David Robinson won his titles because of Tim Duncan.

They clashed stylistically, it was a bad experiment I felt. It worked for Tim Duncan and Robinson, but Duncan was a better team player than Sampson.

Sampson was big but he wasn't mentally tough enough for the elite level. They played with some great teams like the Lakers, Bulls and Celtics, it just wasn't to be.

the 1st one was when hakeem was no longer in his prime. But everyone knows hakeem took shaq to school in 95. Shaq might of had some highlights but overall hakeem was better.

Yup... both Hakeem and David Robinson used to own that son of a ***** in their primes. They were just as tall, but too quick for Shaq. Once those 2 retired Shaq had no real threats as far as centers go. There are a few big men today, but they are not traditional centers in the mold of: Kareem, Hakeem, Ewing, Shaq, Robinson...etc Most of them today are basically tall power fowards with a jumpshot...
