It would be too easy and too stupid for him to talk trash to the bum he is fighting. Ortiz quit against Maidana (same Maidana who almost got beat against an old shot Morales) and questioned his desire to stay in boxing. if Floyd talked trash he would kill the public interest in the fight.

If Floyd trash talks him and Ortiz crumbles, then the odds will drift further out and even less people will be interested in watching this.
Floyd really has to build Ortiz up and make himself look weaker.
It all about selling tickets and PPV sales now for Floyd.
