  • What if Roy Jones fought Lennox Lewis instead of Ruiz?

    What would be the results?

Lets say Roy decided to take on the best heavyweight at the time Lennox Lewis instead of Ruiz. Now i know Roy has been knocked out twice but Lewis would be fighting Roy before the knockouts when he was confident and had that swagger. Plus Roy had not had not had any problems dropping weight or being drained. So Lewis would be fighting Roy at his best.

Roy would've gotten his second loss imo. Lewis was just way too big and he was no John Ruiz. LOL at his whole corner going bezerk that Ruiz was not allowed to hug hahahahaa.

Lewis by wide decision if Roy ran, by career ending knockout if he didn't

Hell, if Roy fights Ruiz and Nady doesn't break up every clinch, it's a completely different fight. Nady would step in and Roy would run around the back of him...

It was good strategy but a weak excuse for a "Fight"

            lets be real here...

Roy would have very very stupid to fight Lennox Lewis. Alot of people say well if Roy wanted to really prove himself he should have faught Lennox Lewis!!

Yeah and then he probably get seriously injured or killed. Lewis is freaking huge...

            6'5 like 250+....wayyy too big.

Lets say he would have beat Lewis? Where would you rank him on the ATG list?

If Roy beat Lewis who was 6-5 about 245 pounds and one of the most underated heavyweights of all time then i would put Roy in the top 3 all time .

Especially if he chose to retire and those knockout losses never took place. Thats a big if, but had be beat Lennox, why drop down back to 175. It would make no sense.

No fighter at 160,168,175 has ever moved up and beaten a legit heavyweight thats 6-5 245 pounds with skills.
