P4P rankings, hell rankings of any sort are never put on hold.

Pac and his fans cannot argue that Pac is number 1 if he refuses to step into the ring with Mayweather. There is no logical excuse for turning down the fight, especially when Mayweather was willing to compromise by cutting off the drug tests 14 days before the fight. That crap about pride and not wanting Mayweather to dictate the terms is total bull****. If Manny doesn't fight Floyd or Mosley in his next fight, then Pacquaio should definitely not be considered number 1 pound-for-pound

If he beats Mosley and then Pac sure. Pac was fought the guys that Floyd did and beat them in better fashion, Floyd has some ground to make up for.

Well see, thats not what I said. I respect the sport and I think Pac definitely deserves to be #1 "ranked" but there is no way he can leave the sport if Floyd comes back, shuts out JMM, and then beats Mosley, is undefeated, and ranked #2 or 1a in the polls. The #1 thing in boxing by far right now is Floyd's 0 and you cant retire without taking that away from him or he is the best. What if Pac was unbeaten? You think Floyd could retire without taking his 0 but yet he still calls him the best.

If Floyd didnt have that 0 then Pac would have no problems or could retire at anytime but the 0 truly changes everything. There is no way he can retire without attempting to take that espically with Floyd beating Mosley & shutting out JMM.
