Australian lightweight Michael Katsidis would relish taking on Ricky Hatton in Manchester, according to his agent.

Hatton will make his comeback to the ring in Manchester on November 24 - three years after losing his IBO light-welterweight title in Las Vegas - and Katsidis is being tipped to be his opponent.

Katsidis has lost four of his last five bouts but would make a tricky opponent for Hatton on his comeback - his career record is 34 fights, 28 wins with 23 by knockout which includes wins over English duo Kevin Mitchell and Graham Earl, but a defeat at the hands of Scottish world champion Ricky Burns.

I still think this is a pretty dangerous fight for Hatton after a 3 year layoff.

Dangerous, but seems like just the right amount of danger...enough to make an exciting fight, enough to be considered dangerous, but enough to pull out a victory vs a fighter similar to him and maybe more limited...if anything, Hatton (well the Hatton of old) probably has the better ability, footwork and faster...but then again that was 3 years ago

      Enough to be 50/50
      Enough to be exciting
      Enough to care
Enough to pull out a win
