Floyd's Shoulder Roll vs Broner's Shoulder Roll

I think Paulie described Broner to a tee. If he has to think in there he's not the same fighter. He's really an average counter puncher. He's actually more similar to James Toney in the sense that he's flat footed. But James is a master counter puncher, one of the best of all time. So he can get away with having concrete for feet.
Broner better either learn to move his hands more or learn how to dash in and out of the pocket like Floyd can or he will never be better than good.

If you have someone who can throw with both hands and has a very good left hand, the shoulder roll is not as effective. Now add the fact that Maidana went OVER the shoulder roll with his right, it caused Broner big time trouble.
Floyd moves better and has more experience but again, if you get the right opponent, that shoulder roll becomes less effective.
The shoulder roll is very effective. Using the Broner-Maidana fight is a poor example to try to dispute it's effectiveness.
