Just saying that when a guy is open and intellectually honest like the author was (has a feedback mechanism, lists his sources, uses government agency data et al) - then his conclusions have merit.

Gun violence in general has been on a steady decline since the 90's. And up to 85% of the firearm homicides are between gangs with drugs usually being the motivating factor. What America needs to do is concentrate on its slums and ghettos, once it does that you'll see gun violence plummet. Ironically a lot of places with the most gun crime, tend to have the strictest gun laws.

Just in recent memory, we've seen Sandy Hook, the cinema shooting, the Wisconsin temple slaying and this. Not to count all the other less high profile shootings. Those highlighted arent gang places. Innocent people get gunned down far too often.

truly sad, another gunman with an assault rifle murdering innocent people. I'm all for some sort of gun regulation ( at least against high powered assault rifles).
