Does anybody read history books? The same people who advocate disarming the public and taking away the right to self defense are the same me people advocating killing down syndrome babies without hesitation or remorse. March all youre happy asses to the Nazi parade and the happy camps socialist idiots.

Need more abortions in general down syndrome or not. I dont know why people like to ignore the massive population growth problem our planet faces. It's probably immoral to have kids knowing our future.

When does fetus become sufficiently human to have the right to life? This question and debate could go on and on, depending on what a person's particular perceptions and religious beliefs are....This is a touchy subject.

          That is a complicated issue.

One, I would never agree to abortion

Two, but if we can detect down's syndrome during pregnancy, is it our humanitarian responsibility to prevent it from happening? But then all the lives your son would have affected by being born, would never be changed.

I've met people with Down's syndrome that I've admired greatly. If humanity shows those with disabilities our greatest side, then we can make them see how beautiful this world is regardless of them and love God and life as they are.

Or we can show them our worst side and make them wish they were aborted.

Naturally, the "right to lifers" are equating what he said with killing babies. That's not what he's saying. A fetus is not a baby. He's saying if you knew the fetus was going to develop Down Syndrome, the ethical thing to do would be to abort it. People with Down Syndrome typically have numerous health issues throughout their life.

So yes, aborting an affected fetus as early as possible is more compassionate than insisting on having a child that will have numerous difficulties and health problems throughout its life. You're not ending a life by having an early abortion in such a case, you're preventing a difficult and painful one.

Yeah, because preventing a difficult and painful life before it's a life at all has so much in common with Nazism.

I picked 'not sure' but I lean towards 'I agree'.

The real question is, is do you think a person with down's syndrome is still a human being?

What if Ronald Jenkees would have been aborted?
