  • Why do pac's opponent get credit for blockin/evading his punches??!

Pac's offensive game is held at such a high standard that when opponents seem to block/dodge his punches they get credit for it but when pac does the same like the bradley fight where he pretty blocked most of bradley's punches people go " OMG Pac is getting outboxed "!

Bradley was ducking for his life to evade pac's punches and still getting grazed by some of them and people give him credit for it. Yet when pac blocks all of bradley's " keep away jabs " he's outboxing pac? lol

probly the same reason why whenever floyd gets hit people say he is declining and slowing down.

when you bob and weave and move out of punches and throw punches back, its called outboxing someone, when you just block punches you are just blocking. of course most people dont know the difference between the two, so there is your answer. both fighters displayed very good defense, and I dono why everyone gets all crazy when pac and floyd get hit in a fight, and claim they are not the same fighter. they are just that good i guess...

Hatton actually made Pacquiao miss a whole 8 punch combination in their short fight. This is Hatton.

So people shouldn't be surprised when some one dodges Pacquiao's punches. He punches very off balanced and lunges a lot. That's why he doesn't look so good against Marquez.

        1) Ring Generalship
        2) Clean Effective Punching
        3) Effective Agression
        4) Defense

all fighters should get credit for blocking/evading punches, its one of the four criterias for scoring a fight! why dont you ask why they get credit for hitting pacquiao while your at it

pacquiao doesnt get enough credit for his own defense, ill give you that. its like bcuz his defense is garbage in some fights ppl ignore it even in the fights where its damn good.

You'd think a Pacquiao punch would be one of the easiest punches to dodge. He just throws a ton of them.

                What defense?

Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Marquez[2011], together averaged 28% landed on Pacquiao, with Marquez landing 32%, the rest 27-29%. There is no way to underrate his defense. 28% is a high number to land.

Pacquiao's underrated "defense" is up there with the likes of Victor Ortiz's defense[who has a terrible defense], who from a few fights added together, I got 32%, That's Pacquiao's company.

HBO commentary doesn't give credit for any fighter vs. Pacquiao. They are pretty damn biased towards Mayweather too.

Speak for yourself. I don't hold Pacman's offense to any high standard. He looks fabulous if you stand in front of him & eat shots. Add movement & he suddenly becomes very ordinary.

Then his fans say that he got bored. Or gave away rounds, or people are running. When in fact they're moving & boxing in a sport called boxing, lol!!
