Why are you looking at it from a baseball point of view?

But hey you've played both sports right?

It depends from person to person, but how long will it take a person to become good at baseball pitching compared to learning for instance Leg Spin and all of it's off shoot deliveries: flipper, googly etc? In fact the Googly alone? Same with Off Spin. I just think it'll take ages and we're talking about a person with 0 clue of either sport starting fresh.

Fielding is pretty much the same only with a smaller field and a big mickey mouse hand. The technique for catching is a little different and takes some getting used to but it's way way easier than bare hands.
Think so? I think if they had oven mitts for catching a cricket ball, it can be a lot easier as the ball is really hard.

They'd do well hitting singles.
That's my point as well, so a cricket batsmen or a newbie to either playing baseball will get some in, but if I was a leg spinner bowling a baseball guy (or a newbie) starting out, I'd give them a few normal leg spin deliveries and bam change it on the third one to a googly and bam out.

Because any ball may be approaching from a different angle, may be aimed at your body, at your legs, bounce in from any angle and because there is an entire field to place it you have to be able to make a tactical decision while batting within a split second of the release of the ball from the bowler's hand.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like baseball and have a high appreciation for the skill of the players. So does my dad as it happens. But in terms of athleticism, difficulty and depth cricket is a clearly bigger game.
I personally dread both as I at the moment I only watch Boxing and Kickboxing, but I do think Cricket is overall more difficult and nice to see you agree. As for athleticism I mean to me it doesn't matter tbh cuz that it won't get you a pass in cricket except may if you're a raw fast bowler, but even with that you get figured, you got to add variations like "Swing" bowling, so there goes the height and six pack.

baseball is a lot more fun that cricket.
baseball is a lot more difficult than cricket.

yes, there are fat players in baseball but mostly pitchers.

All you hav to do is analyze the situation. what is harder to do?

hit a pitch in cricket or hit a pitch in baseball???

          its no contest.

cricket ball only comes at you in one way really and its a freaking chip shot the way they swing. baseball, the ball is coming at you faster and coming at you in all sorts of ways. curve ball, slider, change up, screwball, forkball, splitter there's a myriad of ways to throw in baseball while cricket there's really only one way.
          This is getting sad now.

Your claims of "buh buh I've played both sports doe" seem quite dubious now and you use it to gain credibility for your arguments, but thanks for outing yourself.

Here is the list of unique deliveries in cricket:

            • As soon as a cricket ball hits a soft American, they will bring inaAmerican football style padding to the bowlers

Huh? You have seen cricket right? The bowling style is entirely different. It would take years for the conversion from baseball pitcher to bowler, let alone someone good enough to appear in the ashes or any major test series.

                    • He wouldn't do jack.. Cricket and baseball are 2 different sports, Cricket is all about skills and technique while Baseball is about blindly hitting the ball as hard as u can followed by running like a mad dog, and all bout freaking luck and no skills .
